We all have vases and home decor that could use a little makeover. Right? I have this large pretty boring vase, that I kept looking at and wondering what to do with it. I finally decided what I wanted! Chinoiserie! I love the look of elegant blue and white chinoiserie pieces, so I decided that the makeover that this vase needed was just that!

I had painted this vase a couple of times already, but it was just not providing the magic I was looking for!

Materials needed for the makeover:

Printed blue and white patterns

Mod podge

Brush

I printed some blue and white florals I found online and cut them out. I placed them all around the vase and sealed them with several coats of Mod podge. Once you apply the Mod podge, let it dry for at least 24 hours.

I took some flowers I had and spray painted them in tones of gold and cream (they already had pink hues so that made them pop a bit) the result is below. Now I think it has the magic I was looking for! What do you think?
