I have an enormous amount of plants...I'm a crazy plant lady. I love my plants and I like them to look even more beautiful than they already are in pretty planters or stands. But! Planters and stands are soooo expensive! I had seen a plant stand I really wanted, but it was a tad too pricey. So I decided to make one using supplies from the Dollartree.

I purchased a basket (I think it's used for laundry)

4 plungers (only using the sticks)

Jute cord.

Hair beads

And ALOT of hot glue (for the jute cord)

I attached the plunger sticks with zip ties to the sides of the basket.

Then I gave it several coats of a brown and metallic brown spray paint.

After that was done I went around the basket and covered it with jute cord, leaving some of the basket to show.

I really love the way it came out! It took me a couple of hours to make, but well worth it!

I have the detailed tutorial below. Make sure to subscribe to my Youtube channel for more DIY's! You can find me on Instagram/Facebook - @thecraftessa
